Measuring Our Success

EASEL Animal Rescue League, a NO KILL rescue shelter, is passionate about saving lives. This is just one measure of our success. We believe “Every Animal Should Enjoy Life.” We strive to place animals in loving homes free from abuse, hunger, fear, and loneliness. We are committed to provide the care and respect they deserve. Measuring our success is just one way we stay motivated.

We are especially proud to manage Mercer County, NJ’s only no-kill municipal shelter. EASEL has become a national model of a rescue-led municipal shelter. And, we continue to make strides in the advancement of the no-kill movement through active engagement in the community with our programs. For example, dogs and cats adopted from EASEL receive spay / neuter surgeries, microchips, and vaccinations as a standard part of the adoption process.
